The Styrian Coarse-Haired Hound is a medium, rustic scenthound with a harsh red or fawn coat, a bearded face, and dropped ears. The outline is that of a mountain tracking hound from Styria.

The Styrian Coarse-Haired Hound, or Steirische Rauhhaarbracke, is an Austrian tracking hound used to follow wounded game in mountain country. The UKC classes it as a Scenthound.
