The Petit Gascon Saintongeois is a medium, lean French pack hound with a short tricolor or white-and-black coat, a long head, and long dropped ears. It is a smaller relative of the Grand Gascon-Saintongeois.

A smaller Gascon hound with a short coat and a musical hunt voice; country miles, not a closed-in city routine.

The Petit Gascon Saintongeois is a French scenthound used on hare, developed from the larger Gascon-Saintongeois pack hounds. The UKC classes it as a Scenthound.

Temperament
