The Medium-Sized Anglo-French Hound is a medium, rectangular pack hound with a short tricolor or bicolor coat, a long head, and dropped ears. The outline is that of a light French running hound with English foxhound influence.

The Medium-Sized Anglo-French Hound, or Anglo-Francais de Petite Venerie, is a French pack hound used on hare and other small game. English Foxhound blood was added to local French hounds. The UKC classes it as a Scenthound.

Temperament

These hounds are typically good-natured with their pack and determined on a scent. They have a carrying voice and need more running than a short walk.
